Inquiry: David's earring

I asked this question over at numb3rsficfind without success and was hoping that perhaps one of the David fans here could help me out.

I'm looking for the episode in which we see David at a crime scene wearing an earring which appears to be a diamond stud. admiralandrea has pointed out that he wears one for his disguise in Bettor or Worse, but the episode I noticed it in it

Hmmmmm... I'm not sure I remember a David/earring episode but I did tend to pay attention to Charlie and Don in S1 and then Colby any other time. We're going to be doing a re-watch of all the seasons soon... I'll keep this question in mind. Now I am curious too. haha. I wish I could be more useful, but maybe some day it will happen. :)
