On Thursday evening, I realized there was a crack in my windshield. I thought it was a 6" crack, starting at the edge. I called it in to my auto insurance on Friday (I have full glass coverage), and then set up an appointment with a glass repair place for me on Saturday. I bought myself a 16GB iPhone for my birthday. So far, I'm liking it a lot. I transferred my old number, so no need to update address books and such.

I am now officially even older.

I have the following books to give away. First person to comment with a request for a book gets it. Pick-up at my condo in Albany (near CrossGates) unless other arrangements are made. If any books are unclaimed by the end of the month (October 2007), they will be donated to a local library.

I'm going to consider myself officially moved in to the new condo now. Not only is my stuff all here, but it's sufficiently unpacked and with new stuff installed as to cook real meals and entertain company. This is good.

Had closing on the condo on Thursday. It went smoothly. I spent a good portion of the weekend cleaning the new place. Both bedrooms, the hall, and most of the livingroom are clean. The bathroom and kitchen should be done sometime in the next week. I've got an appointment with the locksmith to re-core the locks today.

It's been a crazy week.

• Tomorrow: buying a condo
