Yeeeeah, well. I was going to post a "Argh I fucking hate Valentines Day" thing but really, I can't lie. I don't hate it. I'm now quite comfortable with the fact that this year's thing will pass me by completely and I will spend Saturday night either in my living room or my trailer thing on-set, gorging myself with chocolate and watching whatever

Musing's good. I mean, you've got to sort of sift through and take what you want to keep from the ruins of a relationship, and leave behind the crap, and hopefully work things through so you're in some sort of fit state to try something new when the universe throws it at you finally. Not that I know what the fuck I'm talking about, ha. I'm awful at the whole process, it's misery that I think I'd be through with even if I hadn't found Nathan.

Definitely. I think that's the more sensible thing to do, rather than sit and mope over it. There's still a bit of working through to be done no matter how it ended but I'm confident I can move on from it. I think it's just a case of knowing when to let go, and put it down to fate.

Valentine's Day this year will represent one of the first days I'll be spending with my BFF/SO over 4300 miles away for a few months. I loathe my job sometimes. Then I realize I should be grateful he's nestled safely in Switzerland, and not in the army or something. Then I realize, after Switzerland, he WILL be in the army, even if it's the perfectly safe version in Finland. I'm man enough to admit there will be a little tugging at the heartstrings. Aww.

I know what you're saying about the songs. That's why my relationships get bad pop music as their soundtrack. Look, we broke up, I can't listen to Taylor Swift anymore. DAMN. It works out well however it goes.

That is actually an amazing idea. I think I'm going to do that from now on. Trouble is... I do have a soft spot for bad pop music so I'm not sure if this cunning plan will work.
