Oh, yeah.

I read three books during March. I forgot one. Which, despite the fact that I forgot that I read it, I actually rather enjoyed.

Hey. Friend of Christy's, blah blah blah.

Random I know, but I read "Snow Crash" this weekend. I seem to remember you citing it as great book a few months ago in one of the few posts of yours that I've read.

All this to say, thanks for the unintended recommendation. One of the better novels I've read in the last few years.

Hello, Friend of Christy's!

Yeah, isn't it great? Neal Stephenson is one of my top three favorite modern novelists (along with D.F. Wallace and David Mitchell (who has a new book coming out on Tuesday!!!!)). If you liked "Snow Crash," and it sounds like you, uh, did, then you should really pick up "Cryptonomicon." It'll blow your mind. And if you've really got a lot of spare time this summer, why not read the Baroque Cycle? 3,000 pages of somtimes-anachronistic 17th Century shenanigans. w00t.
