'National Sickie Day'

Today is the day workers are most likely to throw a 'sickie' and take an unofficial day off.

Surveys suggest the first Monday in February is the worst day of the year for absenteeism, leading to it being labelled National Sickie Day.

Post-Christmas blues, poor weather, credit card bills and a long wait for the next holiday have all been blamed.

My boss is out sick today! And I came this close (holds fingers really close together) to doing the same! Except I really am feeling pretty sick.

i am also really sick on national sickie day. but i don't have a job currently to call out of, so i guess it works out.

I have a doctor's appointment today... Been sick-ish for a while, though. And I'm still going to work at home.
