Okay, yesterday's post title really was meant to be tongue-in-cheek, and the post itself was intended as a commentary on the economic situation and NOT an actual plea for people to buy my book. You definitely hit ze nail on ze head. Decreased books sales = fewer chances for future publication. It's an ugly fact for all authors. Well, except for a rare few on the top of the heap, that is.
I do, however, love Madkestrel's idea, but for it to have any effect it's going to have to be busloads of folks. Or maybe everyone at the Super Bowl. Humm...

That being said, what do I do now with my 500 copies of Horseman's?

Next up: John McCain (who, despite being a complete tool, luvs Horseman's Gambit) went on the Senate floor (which resembles a scene in Horseman's Gambit) and read a speech that could've come directly from Grinsa's mouth ($20.48 on Amazon.com) and...that's why he wins this week's BOW Award (sponsored by Horseman's Gambit from TOR Publishing, in stores NOW!!!).

The comment that brought me up short was on my other personal blog at Wordpress.com (same content, different platform).
As to what to do with your 500 copies...hmmm....With Rules of Ascension or Seeds of Betrayal I'd have recommended that you build a house, but my books have gotten shorter and therefore smaller. Still, a bungalow?
