I am afraid to say you do not have the monopoly on corrupt politicians. Our Tory government is full of those type of sleaze bags.

Why is it corrupt? Cox is a QC (senior barrister) who can earn eye-watering amounts for an hour's work, which his clients evidently think it is worth paying. He apparently works about 20 hours a week on that.
