Today hasn't been a Bank Holiday. It's on Friday … yeah I know!

There was a big hoo-hah about this last year, when the government announced that in 2020 VE Day (Friday) would be the Bank Holiday. Socialists and Pagans were not very impressed.

Well, it used to be but the Tories cancelled it since last year and moved it to the 8th for VE Day. Socialists and pagans like myself are furious. Effing Tories!!!

Weird how your post office was open. Here, apparently the post will only be delivered on Mon, Wed and Fri in metropolitan areas because the post office has been flooded with parcels in the covid crisis. But I am still getting my five days per week delivery here in the country.

The government called it rather late. Millions of China printed diaries and calendars got binned/recycled. Ho Hum.

Well, as it will not make much difference this year I am somewhat indifferent now as no mystery shopping (except online or phone) is on at the moment.
