Apart from watching that movie, most of the day I have been reading and have finished yet another paperback, a novel this time, but it was relatively short , unlike the one I am reading now, which is Margaret Atwood's “The Blind Assassin” (currently at page 92 in this 600 plus page book ( Read more... )

Pretty sure it's this title by Atwood that I've been eyeing on my TBR shelf. I've never read any of her work, so I'm curious. Keep us posted what you thought of this one, if you happen to think of it.

I'm also reading a 600 page, chunker. Tis that time of year haha. Racing to finish the first read of a new year. Smells like heaven & possibility.

Presently, I am beyond loving The Swan Thieves by Elizabeth Kostova. Who inspired my new tag #holyKostova haha. I surely will be looking out for more of her work. For me, she's been one of those authors who speaks directly to me & knows things about me few else would. Forcing me to take a step back to view the bigger picture. There can never be too many authors with Kostova's invaluable skillset out there. I even love the way her name rolls off my tongue. I assume she's Russian.

& so it goes... for every one idea I get about reading, there's ten others lurking behind it. Not so many hours in a day lol. Though I could spend that long discussing books, I'm sure.

Happy reading, my friend!

Atwood's story alternates between different eras, occasional news articles, and sci-fi stories,
WOW, that is quite the mixture of story lines. :o

I haven't read that one in ages. I need to read it again I used to hate her books when I was younger, but now she is one of my favourite authors.
