Jazz Influence

I have been listening to my Italian compilation Influencia Do Jazz CD again , and out of the 16 tracks on it, a fine collection of jazz, bossa and other funky grooves is this one by Stevie Wonder called "Manhattan At Six".

Our Jazzmobile Saturday jazz workshop class worked on the Quincy Jones tune. It was me on violin and four or five electric bass players. I'd play the melody and improvise, then each bass player would improvise while the rest of us did the double stops on bass. It was fun!
