This may be a way in to the Star Trek movies. I had never been a fan, so when my lecturer said that we had to watch them all I thought it was impossible (and think that still). So, when I did an assignment I only looked at one or two specifically (which I could do). Not only was it physically impossible, but I think it would have been torture was well :D

However, this has piqued my interest and I may watch some just for academic interest...or maybe I'll start watching one and not be able to go any further :P

I used to not care for him but did I really know him as a person, no!
I love the commercials he has done lately with Penny from The Big Bang Theory. If you haven't seen them, he plays her father, lol.

Shatner is undoubtedly an ego, but he does at least have a sense of humour. That's quite a saving grace.

If you're interested in "Star Trek", I'd recommend Water Koenig's book "Chekov's Enterprise". Well worth a read.
