I did not know this was possible. It's certainly intuitively incomprehensible.

You can stack bricks (or anything with a rectangular cross-section) so that they form a staircase that never falls over, no matter how far it reaches.

I perfecly well understand how this is possible from a physics perspective, but seeing it actually in sction is just... whoah.

That was a crazy/busy coupla days for me. Must've been why I missed that entry. I just unearthed the newspaper for that day - untouched.

I recently persuaded myself to buy a Pentax digital SLR. It's nice for work type pics, but I'll still be taking ye olde Canon Power Shot on vacation.

I've got my old Pentax K-1000 from college daze. Funny that - old and clunky as it is, it never NEVER ONCE said to me "Nnnnnnnnnyyyyyyyyaaaahhh you really don't want to be taking that picture. Let's just wait a minute until everything stops moving. There'll be other once-in-a-lifetime shots."
