On the other side

Now that I'm done, and on the other side of things, I feel like talking about the past month.

As I am extremely fair skinned and rather covered in moles, I try to watch things carefully and visit the dermatologist on a semi-regular basis.

On September 23rd, I went in for a check-up and to have a mole on my face that I thought was suspicious checked

I have been meaning to have a mole on my eyebrow looked at. I will make that appointment tomorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear that this is what you've been dealing with lately. I am SO, SO, SO grateful that you are cancer-free and that things were not more serious. Thank you for encouraging all of us to be more vigilant about our skin care and sun protection.

Glad that the procedure went well... that would be a horrible call to get! yikes! Glad that you have been careful, and got checked out. So many young people (and I am including us!) think of skin cancer as something old farmers get. Thank you for the reminder that we all need to keep our eyes out.

And you really didn't need to mention that Dave was good about helping you, I wouldn't expect anything else from that man. :)
