She's actually IS offended I'm not into the original Star Trek and that as a child, I kept her from watching TNG. Ah well.

Lucky you! Mine's not 'til the second week of April. I'm still not sure what I'm doing; it's pricy to fly back east. My semester's been going well, it's just been a bit difficult working mostly full time and taking classes when I'm not at work. At least my classes are useful this semester. I hope yours are going well! I heard about your mascot, by the way.

Oh. I'm sorry; I thought you were joking. It can be difficult to tell when something is typed out, though. I hope you're able to work less next year. I only work part-time, and it's still difficult to balace the two.

And I'm glad the chief is gone! It's absurd that he lasted as long as he did.

It would be great if you could visit, but I understand about the ticket prices. I have had some luck in looking at the discount airline webpages, and looking at www.cheaptickets.com. I'm pretty sure you'd be able to get a round trip flight for around $200 or so.
