Despite the fact that no-one posted any good Canucks karma in my previous entry, I landed a pair of relatively cheap tickets for Friday's game.

I'm taking a very deserving friend who has been so good to me that I should probably be fronting for her beer and food as well.

Last night was difficult for me as well. I wanted to watch the game through to its conclusion, but I was also dog tired and needed to be up at 5am the next day.

I set a limit of Double OT. The game was still tied at the end of that, so I had to pack it in. It was weird going to bed not knowing the outcome of something in which I'd just invested 4 hours of viewing time.

Woke up this morning, logged onto NHL.com... "oh! we won!"

I'm up for dinner on the 19th.. but.. you are aware that the Canucks and Stars will be playing a game that night if the nucks don't run the table and sweep them in 4 games?

I mean, I'd still come, but I might be distracted :P
