I've had a batch of bleak - finding myself far from the place I used to call 'home'. This is the start of spiny-lobster diving season there - and a time when the lemmings (my brother a friend and I) used dive. It was physically hard and made for a tight bond... I've been wondering about migrating away from Blogger simply because there seems to be a hassle factor involved.

a couple of times it has quite smoothly let me comment, mostly though, all I get is a message telling me the comment hasn't been posted. It's quite odd *g* And I haven't even been making cheeky or rude comments

It always seems to take me several tries to get it to let me post comments. It seems to get hung up on proving that I am who I say I am.

Yeah, good point. In my head I know that settling in takes on average 7 years. But knowing doesn't stop you missing stuff and people.

If that's the type of thing that is going on there, not being there anymore sounds wise. I've never noticed that whether or not it was wise to move makes a difference when it comes to missing a place though.
