Great weekend of doing nothing! It was supposed to be a weekend of giggery, but bad weather and band illness put pay to that, so it was spent in the house, relaxing and watching cheesy films. We had D&W around, watched Weird Science and had a picnic in the living room. All good stuff

Yes, sorry for not replying sooner, work has been rather mad of late.

I've done you another CD. I'll drop you an e-mail to check I've got the right address, and I'll post it from work. If you would rather it goes out after you move then just mail me the new address and I get it ready and just put it into the post when you have moved.

i also got a pay freeze, but also the threat of "redeployment" means that it hasn't reduced my enthusiasm for work!

A sudden bit of inspiration today means that I've circumvented a 14 week project, and should deliver the results of that by the end of the week!!!

Work enthusiasm has gone up again :)

I am quite sceptical about the people who say the pay freeze will save jobs. We did have a really good 2008, with a lot of growth, so that makes it feel more like profiteering.

I also wouldn't mind if they said it was inflation or exceptional circumstances, but a complete freeze isn't terribly welcome. Especially since I feel I've got a very good bargaining position to argue from.
