they accidentally twiddled one of their knobs off, and shot it into the audience
That just sounds sooo bad...

watched karohemd sing along when offered the mic
*grins* It was only one lame "Fiery Skies", though.
My claim to fame. Second time this sort of thing happened to me, ever. First time was sometime in the early 90s at a Johnny Guitar Watson gig. ;o)
Please tell me you got a shot of that, kneeshooter only got my arm...
Glad you liked them!

I can imagine that up close Wai Pi Wai's sound must have been a bit hard but they were the best knob twiddlers in my book, closely followed by Architect.

Sorry, no shot from me. I was directly behind him at the time, so I'd only have got his back. I did watch kneeshooter get the shot you've as an icon though.

Hmm, the Unter Null stroppiness irked me slightly too. She didn't seem think we were putting enough enthusiasm into dancing? Hmm.

Everyone was watching and thinking they couldn't be bothered to dance, the singers too stroppy.

I had earplugs for Wai Pi Wai but even the air was vibrating behind those subwoofers! Not good for steady shots. Holy crap did I enjoy them though!

I was singing and dancing in the pit for most bands. Not too professional but I just can't help it!

My plugs were in too. If I didn't have them with me I wouldn't have stayed there long.

Ach, I wouldn't worry too much about that.

As Dave says - earplugs are essential. I learnt that shooting The Prodigy a couple of years ago. I even take mine to clubs now - I just wish sound engineers would realise that some of us want to be able to hear in our old age.

To be fair to them, we are a bit daft in our behavoir, as we hang around the speakers, and go to loads of gigs (Especially you!)

It was good. I enjoyed a lot of the same sets you did (though I missed Reaper and Stromkern), but for different reasons. Reaper I don't feel too worried about and I've seen Ned a good handful of times so my disappointment is balanced out by knowing I've seen great shows by him in the past.

battyblingtrash was cute. However you transitioned to hanging out with her when I went over to talk to Adrian, Rosie, and Clint. Hmmm... And never really introduced me, did ya? Course she's been snapped up by some lucky guy anyways. :)

And the guy from Northern Ireland didn't blow me up or anything. Very good that. *laughs* That was a weird way to kick off the night.

I somehow missed that SKET managed that with their, ahem, knobs.

Agreed on Stromkern/FLA, though.

Good to meet you in the photo pit, too. Looking forward to seeing your photos...
