I wish I could say I was surprised. Make it illegal to copy a CD that I bought and paid for, or back up a digital file that I likewise purchased? Sure, why not. Outlaw sensible procedures (vis à vis my Feb. 1st post), and only outlaws will be sensible. Or something like that.
I wonder what trendy foreign haven (Canada, after all, is so passé) I can flee to when the corporate oligarchy finally seizes power for real.
