A rebuttal to a rebuttal

Persuant to some posts made in reply to a post I made yesterday, I prepared the following. It's a bit lengthy, but I think by the end, you'll see where I'm going with all of this.

There are those who say that the US government could never get away with a conspiracy to perpetrate the acts of terror which occurred on September 11th, 2001 and get ( Read more... )

I was thinking, last night, about this. I got something from the government in the mail. Nothing important. Some tax thing. And I got to thinking, "What would it be like if I believed that the body which is sending this to me were the enemies of civilization and decency?". To wit, what if I were an American, living in the US, believed what I presently believe, and got any peice of mail from the government.

The effect was instantly chilling. Putting myself in this situation, I felt myself surrounded by my government, at all sides. It's everywhere, omnipresent in the country. The thought of it being my enemy, and being everywhere, was horrifying.

Putting myself in the shoes of Americans who, if they come to see what you and I see, would have to be constantly filled with dread and rage, made it a little more clear to me why they might be resistant to these ideas.

I had written some stuff but the browser crashed - before I re-write it, it struck me that I don't actually know exactly what you believe.

For example, the "jews didn't go to work that day" bit, you believe that?

No, I'm pretty sure that falls within the "crazy" range of belief. This is the sort of thing which is not only demonstratably untrue, it hinges upon the belief that all jews are part of some giant worldwide conspiracy to eat muslim babies and serve satan, and thus act in perfect unison and accord in the pursuit of this agenda. If you've met any two jews, you know full well that they're not all on the same page as pertains to almost anything.

Tell you what: I'm going to work right now, and taking my laptop with me. While there, I'll spend some break time writing out the case as I see it. Expect to see it online around 6:30 AM, PST.
