In Petersburg, VA (half an hour south of Richmond, for those who may not know... I have more international people on LJ than on Facebook, and Google+) we reached 5.9. The only damage we personally suffered was a few things that slipped off of shelves, but apparently a few new constructions need re-constructing

It wasn't too bad. Nothing I'm eager to repeat, but we've been rattled by worse-- just not along with our whole house.
