Pogue trotted over to Reid and Caleb. His eyes flicked toward Chase as he left the field before returning to his brothers. He missed Tyler, and he glanced at Morgan for a moment. "What was that about?" he asked - as if they'd somehow know more than he would. Or did.

Morgan shifted uneasily, wondering if she should go. But she wanted to make sure Caleb was all right, to see if there was anything she could do for him. She did feel the vaguest edges of guilt that she wasn't actually part of this - she hadn't been summoned into it; she'd simply been rescued from it.

She bit her lip before she glanced up to Caleb, trying to meet his eyes.

"I don't know," he admitted, "I'm sure we'll find out sooner than we'd like."

Which made sense since no one wanted it at all. He caught Morgan's gaze and glanced down to her.

"You all right?" he asked softly.

Reid frowned, still uneasy with what had just happened.

"I think they just came over to stir shit up," he said snarkily, glancing back over to where they'd been as if he was expecting them to materialize again.

She nodded quickly, though she moved to stand beside him, as close as he'd let her get to him. Pressed against his side, if she could get in that close, arms around him - as if she could protect him from what had happened.

Pogue looked at the girl before he glanced to Reid. A half-smile quirked his lips, but he reasoned now wasn't the time to point out there was a guy here who looked like him.

"You think that was it?" his eyes flicked to Caleb. "That was the point? Just to stir things up?"

It seemed kind of pointless to him, but what did he know about wars?"

Caleb returned Morgan's embrace with a soft smile before looking to Pogue.

"I don't think so," he said, "It's too tame. I mean, it's possible; breaking us that way, tearing us apart. It's a good strategy. I think they underestimated how well we've banded together, though."

He nodded to Reid, as if acknowledging his contribution.

"Banded together in some interesting ways, I see," Reid said, smirking and looking pointedly at Caleb and Morgan.

Sure, he didn't know the whole story, but anytime he could get one over on Caleb was a good time.
