She'd been on her way back from tacking up a new room list in the dorms - though she wondered why she bothered. It was going to change in a few hours anyway. Still, she liked to keep them as updated as she could.

When she started for the stairs, she frowned as she nearly collided with Severus. "What's wrong?" she asked softly.

Strangely, her first thought was that Reggie had come back and the two had had an encounter, but if that wasn't the case ... she opted to hold her tongue for the moment. "Sev?" she prompted lightly.

He nearly whimpered, some of his teenager emotions still supremely close to the surface, in spite of his attempts to keep control of him mind. He practically threw his arms around her, searching for comfort, feeling like a child who had done something terrible and was about to be punished.

"V-Voldemort," he managed to stutter out. "In... in the orb," no, not in the orb, "In Riverfell," he finished.

They were all doomed.

Never mind that Ice probably had no idea who Voldemort was.

Well, their rescued prize was proving to be quite interesting. She wondered what Riverfell would have seen if they'd managed to capture DauphinMare's.

Wordlessly, she wrapped her arms around Severus, and she felt a bit of deja-vu. Hadn't she, not that long ago, been seeking comfort from him when she'd seen Damion in the orb?

Pressing her lips to his hair, she tightened her arms around him before she started to usher him back up the stairs.

Whomever or whatever Voldemort was ... they didn't need to have this conversation in the hallway.

"Tell me," she encouraged softly once they were in the office - if they'd made it that far.

Severus took a few shuddering breaths - trying to force himself to remain calm, to reestablish some composure - and damn but he hoped he got used to this body and effects on his mind sooner rather than later, and looked up at Ice once they were in the office.

"Voldemort," he repeated quietly. "Better known to many here as He Who Must Not Be Named, or You-Know-Who in a less official capacity. He was - is - the most powerful Dark Wizard of our time. The very sound of his name strikes fear into the hearts of wizards, whether deserved or not," he gazed in the general direction of the orb, taking it in. "He is ruthless, cutthroat, daring, and aggravatingly clever," he grumbled in annoyance. "Possibly worst of all, he is immortal," he muttered. "Moreso here than ever."

There were no horcruxes here, after all.
