Day Two - Sirius - Are you afraid of the dark?
Who: Sirius, Edward, Luna, open
Where: the edge of the forest
When: Late evening
Rating: PG
Invasion: The aliens have landed.
Status: Complete-ish.
Summary: Sirius wants to take a look in the forest to see if there's anything epic out there that might lead to a way home. He encourages Edward and Luna to join him along with Cedric (who he invited earlier that day). Edward and Luna arrive to meet Sirius first with Cedric trailing in soon thereafter. There's a bit of wtf-ness when Edward and Cedric meet, but the meeting clears up a lot of the confusion that's been going around about Edward and his new-found 'twin'. Once that's cleared, they proceed toward the forest... only to be brought up short again when Edward notes Lily's arrival. They meet up with Lily and explore a bit before discovering that the forest holds nothing of interest. It's assumed everyone went their seperate ways.
Sirius had been skeptical about the chances of exploring when the storm had come through earlier. If it rained all night or something, there was no way anyone would be able to find anything of use in the dark. He supposed it would be all well and good to put everything off for another day, but he had been set on exploring tonight.
The storm letting up made Sirius grin, and when it was dark enough out to be considered truly evening, he lit his wand with a muttered, "Lumos." and headed out, Map in hand.
He reached the edge of the forest after the last of the sunlight seemed to be gone and held his want-tip close to the Map, trying to pick out the dots that would indicate his exploration team was getting close.
Patience wasn't his strong suit, and Sirius held his wand high to spread some light toward the forest. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to wait long for the others to show up. He was keen on finding out what the forest was like here.
If it was anything like the Forbidden Forest, it would certainly be interesting.
