Summary: Lily wakes up in Ice's body beside a very young Snape. After a bit of back and forthing, they realize what's gone wrong. Lily goes down to the infirmary to check on her body, and realizes that Harry's in it. There is some awkward confrontational conversation when Ice (in James' body) enters with Anya.
Ice retreats up to her office and Severus follows, leaving Lily and Harry in Laurel's capable hands. Anya watches for a bit before deciding that she won't be needed here, and she leaves.
Lily decides to go out for a walk, leaving Harry in her body to rest after the healing.
Meanwhile, Ice and Severus discuss the situation and various options they have. There is some snapping at each other, due to tension and all around ill feeling about the situation, though there are moments of amusement as well as they try to acclimate to their new forms. Ice is displeased by the glasses and James' shoddy vision, and Severus can't seem to lean properly against a wall.
They briefly visit the idea of instating training sessions, and Ice makes a list of people to to ask about that before she decides that the body she's in needs to eat more often than she does, so she and Severus head out to have lunch in the cafeteria. Ice prepares herself for a long day of frustration and extreme annoyance.
Lily stretched, and she smiled a little. Her back didn't hurt at all. She was fairly certain it would have, at least a little, but there was nothing. She braced her hands against the bed, and was kind of surprised - they'd been bandaged when she'd gone to sleep. Wondering if maybe she'd lost them somehow while she slept, she glanced to the other side of the bed.
And blinked.
She reached out curiously the dark hair beside her, but... no, James' hair wasn't ever that long. Ever. "Sev?" she murmured --
-- and clapped her hands over her mouth.
Gasping, she tried very, very hard not to scream against her palms, but it was an effort. Long legs tangled in the sheets as she stumbled from the bed, and she looked for a mirror. Finding one over the vanity, she stared at herself - though it wasn't her face that stared back.
Lily gazed into the storm grey eyes that were reflected back at her, the long blonde hair, the tapered ears, and she did scream then. It was abbreviated as she clapped her hands over her mouth once more, unable to tear her eyes from the reflection.
