Toki smiled and shook his head with a soft chuckle once more. "Atlanteans. is basically de same things, though."
He slipped away after one more stroke through Skwisgaar's hair, walking to the vanity table to get Skwisgaar his coffee. "I be right back," He said with a soft coo, "I goings to gets you somethings for de headache."
He left the room, closing the door quietly behind him, before walking to his own room. He'd figured out what was the best way to get rid of hangovers, and involved lots, and lots of chemicals.
He returned a few minutes later with what looked to be a lunch box. That's because it was.
It had drugs in it. Mostly hallucinogens, though there was a little tiny pouch of pills off the side, which were probably easily recognizable as ecstasy. The brunette picked up a vial with a dropper in it and whispered, "Opens up your mouth, dis will makes de hangs-over goes away. I tries it once, and it really works!"
Acid as a hangover treatment. Only Timothy Leary and Toki would have thought of that.
Skwisgaar was already fairly certain that he could taste his pulse, and was acutely aware of any and all noises going on around him, thanks to the headache.
So, really, he wasn't going to argue whatever cure Toki came up with. Even so it took him a minute to actually comply with the request, sighing heavily again and draping an arm across his eyes in an attempt to block out the light.
It would start to work in about five to ten minutes due to how potent it was, but it was one of the variants which only lasted about an hour. In the meanwhile, Toki started lightly rubbing pressure points on Skwisgaar's face, knowing the motions would help get rid of photosensitivity and the headache.
Pickles taught him this a while back, knowing Toki would need it at some point.
He sighed heavily, letting his arm drop back over his head once Toki started, eyes still closed, just keeping his breathing even at the moment since that just made everything easier.
Of course, he could still taste his pulse, either that or he hadn't fully gotten rid of the Atlantean aftertaste. Maybe both.
