Toki obviously had set his body alarm to wake him up at the break of dawn, as he cooed out his first pre-waking murmur at the light of the sun hitting his face. He opened his eyes and realized what day it was.

To which he squirmed out of the blankets into a sitting position, utterly giddy. He did, however, pay some mind to the sleeping blond, trying to decide whether or not to wake Skwisgaar.

He decided that he would, only AFTER brewing the first cup of coffee. He slipped out of bed, keeping one eye on the sleeping Swede and their dragon, who had taken up its little nest between their heads that night, and went to press the big red button on the coffeemaker. He also picked up the stocking which was festooned with his name in spangly sequins along the cuff.

It was the lack of warmth, really, that finally woke him. Though the smell of coffee didn't hurt either. He sighed, stretching and grumbling and stifling a yawn against the back of his hand, one eye peeling open, followed by the other and a grumble that might have been 'good morning' and might have been 'merry Christmas' and might just have been typical morning grumble.

Toki smiled at that, and wandered over to Skwisgaar's side of the bed, handing him his stocking and cup of coffee before dropping himself beside the blond.
He had gotten his usual stocking stuffers of candy, more candy, mini puzzle games, and a pack of cigarettes, undoubtedly put there by Pickles, who'd been privvy to his nervous habit since the beginning, if not the catalyst.

"God Jul, Skwisgaar." He purred, pressing a kiss to the Swede's cheek. His smile was almost serene and angelic in its boyish, scruffy way.

He smiled slightly at that, accepting the coffee, just a little more awake once he'd slurped down half of it in one go, and really that was mostly because of the temperature.

He upended his own stocking, picking through the contents carefully, most of it sample-size bottles of lotion and other various and sundry sundries, as well as treats and a few other odds and ends, he nodded, picking out a foil-wrapped anise drop, crinkling the wrapper at Pompeii, "Good mornings dragon, is time for awakes."

Toki had the time to tug on his pajama pants, so he did, before he popped a red-flavored gumdrop into his mouth, kneeling behind Skwisgaar to look down at the sleeping dragon who just snuffled and turned over before continuing to sleep.

"Maybe he's a nocturnals sorts of dragon." Toki guessed, draping his arms over the Swede's shoulders. "Maybe we should lets him sleeps for a little whiles longer."
