Sometime after dinner, when the band had settled into their usual after-dinner distractions, and after Skwisgaar had taken a little more time to work on Toki's actual Christmas present, he went to find the brunette

And Skwisgaar's advent calender was a great way to make Toki smile, and after having thought about it the night previous while looking for rocket-powered rollerskates for Homestar Runner, Toki had decided that Skwisgaar deserved more than just one gift a week. After all, he had so many years to make up for the lack of gifts that Skwisgaar had in his life for Yule.
He was in his room, working on wrapping the next series of small gifts to tide the blond over between the big presents he'd be giving each Saturday until Yule. He was at his desk, tongue stuck out the side of his mouth as he affixed a bit of tape to the end of a little gift box, having since mastered the art of wrapping up a box without wrapping his hand up with it, or making it look lumpy. It took him three rolls of wrapping paper to get THAT right, however.
The rest of the gifts he hadn't wrapped were in boxes in a closet that had a sign which read NO PEEKING on the front of it.
After finding no sign of Toki in any of his usual spots, Skwisgaar shrugged, padding down the hall to knock on the brunette's door, "Toki, is you hidings in here?"
Because if he was... well, that might not bode well, Hiding!Toki rarely did.
Toki looked up at the door, "I not hidings! I wrappings gifts!" He called back, the door obviously unlocked as he set aside the tall-ish giftbox, to later put a ribbon on it and affix a little note. The next day it'd be Skwisgaar's gift.
"Comes in! Is open!" He pulled a comic book off the stack he'd amassed on the desk, flipping it open to a random page, looking as if he was reading it. He thought this diversion tactic was terribly clever.
Skwisgaar arched a brow, leaning against the door frame a moment later, arms folded, "I thought you says you is was wrap a gifts, not reads a comicsbook."
He shrugged then, pushing himself up away from the door, "Anyway, isn't really a matters. You gots a minute?"
Toki shrugged, "I just gots finish with one, oh, forevers ago." Toki smiled. If Skwisgaar saw the wrapping paper festooned with gibson x-plorers on it, he would have known immediately it was for him, you see.
"Sure, I gots a lots of times to spare. What you wants?" He sounded hopeful that it was something special. Mostly because then he would know that Skwisgaar was finally in that yuletide spririt that he'd been boycotting.
