this was perfect. I love how Sammy's amnesia came over him again after his Hell episode -- that seems quite likely and somehow poetic/ironic. His assessment of himself as a liability is heartbreaking, and of course, not at all what Dean is actually thinking.... I love the detail of how he's swaddled in the blanket-- so illustrative of Dean's desperation and care without ever saying it. really great work. I love your codas!!!

The blanket wrap in my mind went with the way we saw Sam kind of spazzing on the floor... I thought Dean would need to get him out of that town, but wouldn't want to risk Sam hurting himself. ^^
