[Luke is surprised.] You're back...

- But I guess you don't remember. That... happens. Hi. It's definitely Coruscant - pull up the galactic coordinates.

[She looks around the room one more time just to be sure it doesn't look familiar before she turns back to him, perplexed.]

I guess not. I apologize.

[She does do as he suggests and pulls up the coordinates, her brow furrowing just slightly in thought as she looks it over.]

How strange. This doesn't look like the world I knew.

Sorry. You were here before, a while back. [She doesn't look as... wearied now as she did then, he doesn't say.] It happens here, you don't need to feel sorry about it.

Yeah, it's still the City of Spires. [An old tourist-y name for the world which fell out of use as more building went on.] Weird, huh?

[It'll take a lot of getting used to, but she assumes she has the time for it now, so she moves on.]

Were you a friend of mine before? What's your name?

[He has to flash a smile at the 'very'.]

I'm not sure if I was, I didn't know you really, but... Anyway, I'm Luke. [And he's fallen into the habit of not giving his last name, but something spurs him into giving it anyway.] Skywalker.

Skywalker? [That garners some surprise.] Where are you from?

[Luke visibly keeps himself from sighing.] Tatooine. Um... last time you asked some things, so I might as well say them now, I live with Owen and Beru Lars on their homestead, my grandmother's name was Shmi Skywalker, my father was a navigator on a spice freighter.

[tippedthescales]

[Well that does take care of a lot of the questions...]

I see. That's... [An interesting story, though she doesn't say it.] I knew Shmi, though not as well as I would have liked, and I know Owen and Beru. They're good people; you must miss them.

[And she really can't help but ask...] Are they the ones who told you that about your father?

[Luke nods, not surprised. And of course he misses them, but it only shows a moment; he's determined not to dwell on it.]

Yeah, there's no one else who knew him. Not even my other uncles and aunts and so on; they knew my grandmother, a little, but that's about it.

[tippedthescales]

I'm sure they miss you, too. [She only knew of Anakin and Owen, but perhaps Cliegg had more children she hadn't met.] Do you have many other aunts and uncles?

On the Whitesun side - my aunt's. Dama, Haro, [He wrinkles his nose] Coolie. They're mostly okay. Uncle Owen had an uncle who wasn't much older than him, but he died when he was fourteen.

Life on Tatooine must be hard on everyone. [She still remembers finding Anakin as a slave, and it hasn't been long since Shmi's death.] Anakin, Shmi's son, disliked it a great deal, though I think he always regretted leaving his mother there. No, I shouldn't say that. I think he always will regret it.

[She looks down for a moment - it's hard to be here without knowing about Anakin - and takes a deep breath before she glances back up at him.]

I'm glad your uncles are mostly okay-- [She smiles at that.] --and that they had the chance to meet Shmi.

Outer Rim worlds usually are harder, I think, but Tatooine's probably harder than most. These city kids on Coruscant don't even know. [He remembers her reacting when he said his father's name was Anakin, last time, so he just nods, not sure if he should say anything..]

Dama and Coolie are aunts. It's Haro who's the uncle. He married Coolie. ['And I don't know why' is obvious from his tone.]

Many people take their upbringing for granted.

[She was guilty of it as well.

She just laughs a little at that tone.] If I ever have the chance to visit Tatooine with again, maybe I can meet Coolie.

You'll be happier if you don't. She hates me. She hates my friends. She wants everything and everyone to just be quiet, all the time - I'm not even sure she likes Uncle Haro, she just doesn't hate him!

[yeah, he's kind of whining here.]

She hates you? Surely not. Maybe she just expresses things differently than most people.
