No. No fancy tricks on this one. Dru's killed a Slayer before, she's serious stuff. [ No one was going to wind up Kendra if she could help it. ] Old. Crazy. Psychic. No messing around on this one.

Which I would be picky about if half of my team weren't in traction right now. [ Okay, not half. Cordelia and Xander, yes. Spike is benched. Andrew's useless. Dawn's not allowed on field work. Willow's too little, and did her part tracking. ] Either way, you're welcome to come a long as long as you bring staves of a wooden variety.

In the meantime, what can you tell me about Deadpool?

You can stick to the wooden variety. I don't know what good my magic'll do on them, but I can provide ground cover at the least. [She misses being a part of a team... But so doesn't miss being the leader. Man, it almost feels good to take orders again.]

Not a whole lot. He's one of those guys you hear a lot about, but never know what's true or what's made up. Like "One time he punched me in the head so hard, my eyes popped out of their sockets" crap. He's pretty much invulnerable though. The being hot thing is new.

Your secret's safe with me. Don't worry, as far as crushing on baddies goes ... [ She sighs. ] There have been some hotties in the past. I get it. [ A beat. ] But, one thing I've learned about invulnerable types? Never as invulnerable as they say. Whatever protection he's got, we can beat it. Especially with magic on our side.

You guessed it. Comes with an added warning label, though. Psychic. She likes to get in people's heads. [ Let us never speak of the fact that Spike's warning is coming in handy. She was busy verbally abusing him while he gave it. ]

[he sounds a little tired, and he's a little late, getting to this after his talk with Cas about his future, but he's in. If Dean's going, he's going, and he's actually pretty in the mood to beat the crap out of something.]

We're meeting up outside the New Jedi Order Headquarters--one of the old Crimson Terror warehouses. As for where the baddies are ... Will set me up with GPS on Dru's datapad.

It seemed politer than an "FYI, you're coming down to meet me in front of the New Jedi Order HQ in twenty." I thought about bribery, but I figured any mentions of Anya's shop would suck out authoritative leaderness out of the whole group transmission thing.
