[ The news has Erik caught off guard from where he is, walking through the streets of Coruscant late at night and he pauses, looking at the screen intently. He had retreated from the matter initially for personal reasons, and certainly hadn't expected this to occur so soon. ]

I didn't think she gave the impression of going down so easily. [ He'd mourn the loss of the woman mentioned, but seeing as Erik didn't know them personally, it was far from the first thing on his mind. ]

Lily or Bellatrix? Because I wouldn't call either journey an easy one. [He pauses, looking very much like someone who just came out of a fight- mostly because he just did. Bellatrix did not make anything easy, that's for sure.]

Bellatrix. [ Though he takes into account the way Anders looks, clearly worse for the wear, Erik's expression doesn't change, regarding the man warily. Limited conversation with Bellatrix had indeed showed him one thing; that she was far from being an easy fight. ]

As regrettable as the casualty is, I'm not surprised. Though I have to ask, why settle for imprisonment after what she's done?

Mostly because Lily didn't think killing her over and over and over again was an effective way of taking care of things. Personally I wouldn't have minded a little death. [His tone is light but there's an edge to that :| he is not Bellatrix's biggest fan right now.]

[Okay, so, Chell totally doesn't know of those things aside from a few videos she had caught on the network. This does seem like something she should be trying to keep abreast of, however, and since she does recognize Anders, he seems to be as good of a source of information as any.

[Anders blinks- oh hello Chell! - before letting out a sigh] Long story short? Bellatrix is a crazy mage from a crazy-ish world and decided to start killing people who looked like Lily, who is also from her world, because she... well, she's crazy. Cue Lily, a normal mage from that crazy-ish world not really enjoying the body count rising, add a few of her friends, myself included, and you get... well, this.

She used herself as bait. Worked great until she decided to save lives by sacrificing her own. But! The great, evil witch is all locked up so there's that. Fun day, right?

[That's a lot of information to take in all at once. Information that was a little bizarre from her standpoint to boot, too. She lowers her head and stares down at her notepad. She starts to write something, before scribbling it out.

She looks up again, brows furrowed in a manner that looked simultaneously sympathetic and puzzled. There's some scratching from her pen onto the notepad again before she holds it up. It simply says "sorry".]
