The slightest inkling of concern playing across his features for the briefest of moment, before returning to a simple, neutral frown. If she looks hard, though, she can see it in his eyes. ]

Catty. [ He is unsure what to say, what could even be comforting to such a confession. He sighs. ]

[And here's a head tilt of confusion. Everyone always make the assumption that she's sad about what happened, that she's dead, and while part of that was true, it was for a great purpose and the only way to save Vanessa and her mom.]
