[The data feed flashes on and there is a sickening moment where it twists and turns before being righted about to flash the camera feed on the smiling countenance of one Charles Xavier.]
Did I figure this out … ah yes, yes I’d say I have. Excellent. Good even fellow [he pauses and then continues.] guests. When I arrived here, despite the

[No, wait. She's not that desperate.]
[Still, she recognizes a mission briefing when she hears one. She thinks.]
Why'd he switch, this Revan?
[Easy questions? Nope.]

Hello, Vasquez, nice to see you.
If I would have to extrapolate an opinion, I would say that Revan doesn't view it so much as a switching of sides. More he believes that his way is now the right way of things.

Why?
[She can't imagine many situations in which it's nice to see her unless someone's needing to be shot.]
If you're siding with the guys you were fighting against before, you got to realize you changed.

Because I'm stubborn that way.
[Moving on to more important matters.]
Well and please understand this is all conjecture on my part as I've never met the man but if he were actually now answering too the original leaders of the other side, I'd agree with your assessment. However, he's not. He's making his own claim of superiority using the philosophy and ideals of the Sith.

So in other words Revan started off angry that no one wanted to stop the bloodshed and decided to do some of his own. [He won't pretend to have felt a particular loyalty to either side. This has only proven the Republic's apperent complacency. he's not surprised. they seem quite happy to let innocent people die because Outworlders are the ones being hurt.
If anything, this just makes him more disgusted with the whole thing. Makes him feel more helpless. A mass-murderer wants them to help him kill, and no one plans to help them. With their numbers being so few and The native Users being so many, what's the use of even letting yourself hope? This is much bigger then Encom or the Grid. He can't charge in and save them all here...]

I would say rather that he started out feeling passionate about the situation. Now that passion has morphed into a belief that he has the right ideals and the Republic needs to follow him.
[Don't worry Tron, Charles actually shares your confusion on the matter. Somehow, in trying to learn more about his situation, Charles realized the lines drawn had gotten much fuzzier.]

That would be my assumption. He at least, appears, to believe that he has the answers and the rest of the universe needs to follow him.

You knew him?

[Maybe some of it was more than he really needed, but better more information than less, and this sure saves him the time trying to figure out the technology to do his own research.]

Charles laughs good naturedly and gives Tony a warm smile.]
Tony, I'm suitably impressed you stuck with me for even a third of all that.
[Actually, he's not. He's been in your head Stark, he knows you're the furthest thing from stupid or disconnected from your surroundings. However, appearance and all that, right?]
Reply
And indeed Tony tries to uphold said appearance even if he is pretty much being deliberately called out on it. ]
You give yourself way too much credit. I stopped listening after the brief roller coaster ride you took us all on at the beginning.
[ Though he did actually listen to it all as much as he is too douchey to admit. ]

I live in eternal hope. Are there any points you'd like me to condense further, Stark?
[The unspoken, are there any questions you don't feel like admitting too because it would reveal you had actually paid attention?]
