[There's a grumble, but the feed stays off, so the lovely person who the voice belongs to remains hidden. Because really, who wants to see ole' Bobby Singer in his underwear?] Oh, balls. Isn't all this just damn peachy? Anybody feel like explaining what the hell I'm doing in my damn birthday suit, with Earth about a billion miles away, or do I just ( Read more... )

[Now there's a voice Dean hasn't heard in almost a year, and it brings a serious grin to his face. He swivels the datapad over, and trains the video camera on himself, where he's sitting with a beer in one hand]

Y'know, if you ever showed up acting polite, I'd call demon shenanigans before you could blink.

[Of course, the sight of Dean all up and better after the whole ghost sickness deal brings a smile to his face.]

Nice to see you too, kid.

You too. More than you might guess. [Oh right, that amazing telepathy thing is still happening, so... Bobby will get to hear that, even if Dean's lips aren't moving] Before you go getting all sappy on me, you might wanna hear where we are, first.

Think galaxy much more far, far away, and a long, long time ago.

Hell, even longer ago, because no one around here's even heard of Darth Vader for another few millenia or two.

[...Shit.] You mean to tell me we are stuck in a place like that Star Wars thing you boys would watch every-time you visited me back in the day?

About sums it up, yeah.

Another dimension, most likely. Nobody's had any luck tryin' to find a way home, but some people get sent back once in awhile and show up again. This place plays all sorts of tricks with time, so nobody back home notices a thing.

Well, it ain't like there's anybody back home to notice a damn thing if they could. 'cept maybe Rufus, but what good is he?

We're not all from the same time, period. When I got here, the rest of you jokers were all still back there.

Probably a bad example, in my case. You wouldn't have noticed either way. [Not since he was dead 8|]

But people show up from all kinds of points on the timeline.

... Dad was here. He's been gone awhile now.

You know a reason I would joke about this?

It's not that bad. Not really. Beats goin' to Hell, and beats what's waitin' back home.

Yeah, I noticed. It's been... goin' around. Some kind of projected telepathy thing. Best we can tell, it's the Force going on the fritz.
