Which function would you consider more important:
Ability to easily correct a char mis-post from the post edit screen
Private Messages

Getting some priorities set up for what's after getting basic posting down.

As useful as a private messaging system is, a number of other contact methods exist (AIM, email). As such, correcting mis-posts would be a higher priority to me.

I shall echo CPrime. We still have the Chat, e-mail, and IM for player to player contact. Post editing is more important.

I agree with all above! Being able to edit a post is very important. Especially if you take forever to type it and forget to check and see if someone else has posted while you were typing c_c;;

Hmm. Another idea for the huge "to-do" pile... Twitter-style "X new posts since you started writing..." auto-check. Wouldn't be too hard, quite similar to how the chat works.
