That's too bad about your site. i often enjoy poking around on it when I was bored. There's some great stuff on there. I was particularly fond of the interview we did in the art studio way back when.

A new Dave site would be awesome. One that featured your youtube videos and other projects! I notice nobody has www.davidalanscottjr.com!

As for livejournal, it's pretty dead here these days. Facebook stole all of its traffic. Sadly, status updates are a poor substitute for blog entries and the compression FB uses on photos makes them look terrible.

Amen about the Facebook thing. Who knows, I may consider a dasjr webpage someday. I'd need the time for it, though....

Dave - there must be some way to save the html code & go through another domain. I would totally help you set up a real website, etc. I would do that for you in a heartbeat.

I have backed up all of the html pages. I could certainly access the info later on, perhaps from a more fresh perspective. It's not something I want to think about right away, but maybe next year. I'm not a fan of building onto my list of things that I pay for every month, but we'll see. Thanks for offering to help out. I envision a fairly bare bones approach, but with some few bells and whistles. Again, we'll see....
