Why Yukimura Had to Lose And What Bothers Me About His Album

Mar 11, 2009 11:34

Last night, I had one of those nights, starting rather earlier. Around 7pm. I couldn't do anything that required focused attention, imagination and more than a tiny little bit of effort any more. That means I couldn't read or write anything. Even IMing was a challenge. Fortunately, Zero-chan somehow sensed it and bombarded me with funny youtube ( Read more... )

[lol, deleted my first response because I suck at formatting |D]

I wonder how Rikkai is going to practise now
OH, me too. I would LOVE to know what kind of speeches Yukimura gives his minions fellow team members now. "Tennis is a battle and you may not lose or else" should be dead by now.
I'm dying to see him play with his newly refreshed enjoyment of the sport as a fun competition.

I love Nagai Sachiko's voice. I totally do. I also think it kinda fits Yukimura. And I can imagine she might have difficulties singing a song that makes people go "O___O *goosebumps*", but I still terribly, terribly miss a song like that. It's as if his songs don't show his split personality dangerous side. A pity.

btw that's a very nice icon you have there *0*
(Why do I not have a Yukimura icon? o.o *gotta make one*)

lol yeah. He was THE DEVIL. And Kaidou, too. Guess it's contagious or something. XD

I'd like some kind of a "flip side" of sorts. "The Yukimura of the tennis court" or something. Full of strong and scary songs. XD.

(oh my. From the second-to-last episode, I have ~80 snapshots. |DDD)

Fufufu, sounds as if you hadn't read the manga ending one year ago >D
I agree with you on many things (especially that tennis should be fun bit) but I'm disagreeing with others. Particularly that Yukimura is as much Mary Sue as Echizen doesn't really sound with me, but I'm too braindead atm to discuss that und search for the why XDDDDD~

Yeah, the album is well, but not.. overwhelming. There are some creative bits (the organ for example) in some of the songs but they are used repeatly and thus somehow everything sounds more or less the same in the end. The Troika song as well - despite the really brilliant singing for once - could have been ... more kickass, I think. It's also his/her voice. Although it was far better and finally somewhat fitting in the Finals OVA it's still - especially when singing - so damn girlish *mumblemumble*

I know, doesn't it? BUT I DID! But I wasn't very mature about it. I was all WTF NOOOOOOOO T_________T YUKIMURAAAAA and stuff. Like, same reaction everyone else had, too. Therefore, I didn't comment on it (here). It was watching the episodes in my weird state last night that made me realize those things. I, er, fail?
And wait a sec. IT'S BEEN A YEAR? O___________________________O ...oh...

Ohhhh once you're brain-revived, do look for the reason! I numbered mine, the ball's on your side of the net =D (I still love Yukimura. And I still don't really care about Echizen. LoL.)

YES! There are even bits of songs that reminded me of other songs I know, but I can't for the life of me pinpoint WHAT SONGS T_T one sounds like a song a Johnny's group would sing *lol
