I'm back in the country. I've actually been back in the country for several days, only I've been absolutely as sick as a dog. I'm still that sick, actually -- I haven't felt this bad since I had pneumonia in 2005 ( Read more... )

The TB skin test is pretty painless; I've had it twice. Itches, though.

Or do you think it's pneumonia again?

*hugs*

I'm fairly sure the TB skin test only checks exposure, not whether or not you have it -- and I know I've been exposed, I was wandering around in pediatric TB wards. Also, it takes about six weeks before the test can actually detect anything and I was only exposed like, three days ago.

I don't know what it is, really. If it lasts for much longer, I'm going to go in and get a chest x-ray

*hugs back* I appreciate the cuddle!

Yay! I'm glad you're back.
But eww, consumption. I hope you've got your fainting couch all set up.

No, seriously, I hope that it's not TB, and that you feel better soon!

I've got the smelling salts, fainting couch, and delicate lacy hankies to stain with blood all ready!

I'm feeling a little better now; it was probably just the flu. Though I got the damned shot. Silly doctors.

Keep in mind what I told you the other day: TB is at least the most attractive disease to have! You will be able to say you have TB in public, and while people will keep their distance, they will do so with awe and admiration. TB is oldschool classy to cancer's trendiness, man.

At least you're not a leper!

Also, you don't have TB. Also also feel better!

Wow, ok, here's hoping it's not TB but just a paranoia produced by being ill. *crosses fingers*

I am amused though, at the comments above. Looks like you wouldn't be ostracized if you did have it. :-)

I know, right? Apparently my friends would be really amused if I got TB. At least I will still have admirers!
