OMG I LOVED all three of these fics! Especially the payoff at the end of the last one ("How about a big hug for your old pal Merle?") (cheers and squees). I can totally see the Merle/Andrea reunion going down like that! I also love the way you portray the relationship between Michonne and Andrea--so painful that Michonne feels forced to let Andrea go when it's possible she may die and reanimate as a walker due to the contaminated blade.

The first two fics were magic, also--even though we never see Andrea in the first fic, we feel her presence as Rick and Daryl argue. I sure hope the 3rd season sees some friction between the two men; I simply don't buy their all-of-a-sudden becoming best buds through and through, no matter that Daryl's become Rick's wingman and "replacement" for Shane.

Really amazing writing--I so look forward to your fics each time you post here! :)

I agree about Rick and Daryl - I think Daryl's way too clever to buy the whole 'ricktatorship' thing. He ain't no-one's bitch ;)

I really love how you weave these stories into what we already know, but also your own original storylines (i.e. Daryl/Andrea in a relationship). They're all so well done and perfectly written.

I can totally see that being the way Merle is introduced, btw. Awesome, awesome, awesome.

Ugh. These are breaking my heart in the best of ways! I love the tension between Daryl and Rick in the first one (reminiscent of the early days for sure), but there's still that layer of understanding there. And I just adore the line where Rick mentions that he thought it was Carol; you can almost literally see it click in his head. Love it love it love it.

The second one was so lovely and intimate between the two; I can't get enough of those moments and it's so well-written and in character. Absolutely beautiful. Also, Shane's a fucking jerk (as if we didn't already know).

And of course I love the surprise ending of the last one! Didn't see that coming and I enjoyed how you tied that preview in, as well as how you portrayed her growing friendship with Michonne. You could really feel her terror at changing from her wound.

I continue to be impressed with your ideas and little stories; can't wait for the next batch! =D

Yeah, Shane's an ass ^_^ It's funny, I feel more sympathy for Merle than I do/did for Shane...I liked how his character was written but I didn't like him. At all!
