I got a letter in the mail today from Lamar State College. In the letter it tells me that the campus has a local chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, which is an academic honor society. The letter also tells me that since my GPA is high enough I'm eligible for membership. I'm still a little ... in awe I guess is the word ... of that. Although I've never ( Read more... )

Definitely join. I was a member of Mensa when I was in college but I let my membership lapse. Now if I want to join again, (which I do)I need to pay to have them re-certified me. On top of that I need to have the results from a qualifying test (IQ, SAT, TerraNova, etc) but I no longer have any of that paperwork because it was from around 1985. Which leaves me with re-testing which takes time and money. So, for now I must remain a non-member. *insert pout here*
