Okay, so out in California, Governor Schwartzenegger has a phone system set up wherein people can, among other things, show support for certain bills. One of the bills currently in the system is the marriage equality act that he intends to veto. So, I don't know whether it'll change anything or not, but it's worth a shot, right? One would think. Perhaps they realize that the impact of the bill extends beyond the state's borders!

Or maybe they didn't have a way of screening it well. Going by the caller's area code could prevent voters who aren't in the state at the moment from voicing their opinions... I dunno.

Tempting! Though it might incite them to shut it down due to abuse. That's why I only called twice - once with each phone line I have.
