If it helps, in the movie!verse comic? Ratchet used to be a Senator. Shit you not. How that worked with the wrench throwing? I DON'T KNOW.

Yeah, I know. x___x I... I can't wrap my head around it. It's sort of horrifying and must have required popcorn for Senate sessions at the same time. =P

Some mech randomly finds an old recording of Ratchet tearing the Council a new one in a Senate session, and all of them are just standing there STARING. Optimus is AMUSED.
