Crazy little thing called Autumnwrite

Nanowrimo? PFFFFT. No thanks, my track record there is 0 for lots and lots of ZERO. I have, instead, been part of something called SeasonWrite all year long - 150,000 words in four months, rounds running spring, summer and autumn. This? Is actually a useful thing to know for my lazy writer's butt. Instead of pouring all my terror and hope into writing in NaNo, this seems more manageable. Thanks for the PSA! :3

yw! It's actually been a great thing for me. It keeps me writing, but without the "OMG LOOMING FAILURE!" that is nanowrimo. And yeah, there's a daily goal, but spread out over four months I don't feel gripped by disaster if I skip a day, or a week, and I know I'm a binge writer so if I only do a drabble during the week and then spit out reams on the weekend it's still okay. ^_^ Lot's less pressure.

Personally, I enjoy reading other bits and pieces from other writer's stories because I usually get the random idea either while reading or after. Even if the post is just a snippet, sometimes its all you need.
