You know, I was on the fence about Dragon Age, but now I think it's back on my list. Right after Darksiders, where you rip a dragon's still-beating heart out of its chest and use it to buy a gun that shoots grenade spears.
I'm glad you're still alive! I was worried about you for a while.
I have nothing but good things to say about Dragon Age, though I'm playing the PC version and apparently the console version is inferior, if that makes any difference. Though I'm more enamored with the characters than the actual gameplay. There's just something magical about a game where you're walking around and two of your party members will suddenly get into a heated verbal battle that ends with them declaring their undying hatred for each other.
But the gameplay is pretty good, too. Some of the battles can be of truly epic length because you constantly have to pause and issue commands to your party if you want to live. I'm like 12 hours into the game and only at 10% completion. :|
tl;dr it's a fun game with a good cast of characters and I recommend it if you like Baldur's Gate/Neverwinter Nights-esque gameplay.
And I have never heard of this Darksiders, but I am intrigued.
I'd always think about updating this journal, realize that I had nothing to talk about, and then never do it.
