I am jonsing for Earthdawn like woah. Remind me to loan you/hook you up with Redbrick's new edition sometime. They fixed some things, but it's the same system we know and love, and the folks they have working on it really love the setting. Some reprintedish books, but they try to keep new material in them.
I bet I can find you some players. New ones, even! Excited ones!
I have a need, and it will only be sated by saying, "How many legend points do we get?" Also, "Taunt."
Edit: all that said, I know what you mean. I'm trying hard to figure out a new system now (Burning Wheel) because man, I think it will really work for what I want to do, but focusing on it to figure it out is tough. But if I can pull it off, then win!
Maybe you're getting burnt out on Saga edition? I know blasphemy! But maybe it is time to have another game in another system. Run a Battletech game with it's rules. unearth your Earthdawn stuff, I know I never played in an Earthdawn game that got above 2nd circle. And then the old question of 'How many Legend points do we get.' can be valid again. Or hell like SW Saga, no more books are coming out for 3.5, doesn't mean you can't run a Twin Worlds game with those rules again.
What I wouldn't do is go out and buy a new game system. Cause ok you spend $X on all these books, run one game, and not run another one.
I've heard good things about Mouse Guard, and the setting. But I haven't read the books, and it falls under my whine about "Not wanting to learn a new system".

But if that whine goes away...tempting.

One of my 501st friends just heard the tales of Sayge and the rest of Keldinar's Angels.
He also just heard the tale of "Kick the Box." That was a marvelous tale of outside the box thinking...literally.
XD
I know priorities change, and we've had this discussion before. I still miss your smiling face and your crazed glee at the gaming table.
