I don't think you need to worry about the primer. We only primed two coats over Brilliant Delft Blue and Extreme Loden Green, and you could still see, well, color, and we got our entire deposit back and they didn't say boo.

Yeah. Over blood-red and grape and bright mango, I was prepared to spend some time priming, but over butter yellow and sort of rosy fawn, please.
