The idea is . . . appealing. 10k isn't that bad of a writing goal and it looks like I'd have all summer to work on it. If I break it down into ten parts of a thousand words it doesn't sound so overwhelming. Though  I did want to work on 'Hail to the King' this summer, though I could work on both. I haven't really looked into it, but maybe I should. I want to get back to writing, and I have a story idea or two that I've been kicking around for YEARS. I've also had a story half-finished that I'd like to finish at some point. Perhaps I can see if the rules would allow me to do something about that. Hmm, must give this more thought...

But, hey, if you need a beta, I'll do it for you if you'd like. I've worked with Bek a few times, and I've also worked with a great author (and now friend) over in the Torchwood fandom. If you find someone else, feel free to use them of course. But I figured I'd offer my services up.

As for pairing suggestions, well, you know my favorite... ;o)

Oh you should totally think about doing it. It looks pretty relaxed so it would be a great way to start on those ideas. We could be writing buddies. :)

And I'd love to have you beta for me if I decide to do it. Today at work I figured out that I could either do Baby Mine or Blackbird and Arsenal for this, as I had them both in mind for longer stories. I'll let you know if I get brave enough to do it or not.

Today I think I'm going to put down my two ideas and see which one will be the better idea for a longer story.

After you look at the sight let me know what think. We can bounce story ideas off of each other. :)

I am sure whatever you end up writing will be wonderful. If you are looking for inspiration perhaps you could expand on one of your AU drabbles or take one in a different direction. It really depends on what catches your writing fancy.

I've actually remembered two stories that I've been meaning to do that would actually work out well for this. sadly though they are both Roy/Tim. Maybe next year I can come up with a Dick/Tim story for it.
