So since I have nothing better to do I figured I'd update my journal. Alot has gone on since I last posted.... And my last posts have just been spammage anyways
( Read more... )
glad to see an update and i'm happy things are going well for you. :D
NY rules.
And i totally agree - it's always nicer when you have someone around to go out and do things with... hit up those places you don't get to visit much and whatnot. I just got back from seeing a play & dinner with a friend of mine from High School who's lived 40 min from me since we graduated, buuuuuut we never hang out for some reason. Was good times :D
Anyway, now i'm rambling. have a wonderful week! -jeanne
Yes, must go back to NYC. Would be great to get the crew together again... Only without a concert so we don't have that crazyness. lol But atleast I'm saving up so it's an option now. ^_^
That's a sad thing though as I'm homeschooled, I totally don't have any friends here. No kids from school or anything. I definitely wouldn't know what to do without the internet! *snugs net buddies* :D
That sounds like a good job. Not in the sense that it's busy or extremely exciting work, but it's always good to get your foot in the door with a newspaper, especially if you're at all interested in pursuing journalism.
It's just occurred to me that I don't know where you live. Are you close to Baltimore? Because I'm just north of D.C....ooooo. *eerie Twilight Zone music*
Oooo. I'm not too far away from ya. I live in south central PA. It's like a 15 min drive to the Maryland boarder. And it's easy to get to baltimore since I just need to take the train from Owings Mills. :)
There's a tennis tourney in DC which I must go to. Mmm marat.
Is it just me or do you like never update anymore? Good to see an update. New York is definitely love. how's dede doing? what're you going to be going to NY for?
As Jeanne said, school's a good place to learn life skills - you learn that people can be kind, or assholes, you learn that people can be intimidating or inviting... but you also learn social skills from within the family, both with respecting one another and some other forms of interaction. Its a part and part thing.
You looking forward to travelling more? Where's Baltimore? It sounds familiar.
It definitely isn't just you. I'm such a lazy ass when it comes to updating my blogs. But I'll try to keep up more. Especially since I have more stuff going on to actually post about. ^_^
Mom's been good. Her laptop just pretty much died, so she's not too happy. :-/
There's no plans set for NYC at the moment. There's gonna be an art thing going on there that my mom wants to go to, I'd love to tag along if I could. But if not that's coo. I'm just gonna work on saving up for trips later in the year. Cause I know I gotta do Club Tattoo again and Otakon.
I'm definitely looking foward to more travel. I miss ya'll and wish I could have come to some of the other trips you guys had. Hopefully, we'll be able to partay more this year. ^_^
Baltimore is south of me in Maryland. It's where the show The Wire is set, if you've ever seen it. :P and I was born there so it's cool that I've been able to go back.
