It has NOT. STOPPED. RAINING. for the past week.

I am not kidding.  Metro Manila is pretty much flooded, all classes are suspended, even work for both government and private sector has been called off.  I'm just lucky that I technically live on a hill, so I'm flood-free but for the rest of my fellow Pinoys who are out there - they're not that lucky ( Read more... )

wtf, real life, pictures, real life clusterfuck, omg

...so that's where all the rain go. it's been dry as for half a month here in Indo during fasting month.

the weather should return back here after ramadhan (end of august), THEN we will get some heavy rain.

OMG - I'm not wishing this much rain on you guys. More than 80% of my city is flooded. Hoping you guys get rain, but not like this! :)

In here, Central Europe, rain nowhere to be seen the last several weeks, it seems to me all of the rain goes to your place. I think you should send some of it here I will be very happy :)

Yeah. We'll send some your way - operative word being "some." I would not wish this much rain on anyone. Most of my city is under floodwaters, it's that bad.

Glad you're OK! We are on a hill, too, although the Marikina River overflow seems to have turned us into an island.

Read somewhere that 80% of the metro is underwater o_O I decided to stay home from work again today - I've been following the news but am not sure where exactly is it safe to pass, so I'm erring on the side of caution and sitting it out. Please take care and stay safe!

GAH! Stay safe, 'Ara. Even if you've got a car, it's still not a good idea to go outside. I only made it to work tonight because I live near my place of work. If I lived any further, I'd have to call in. Take care!

No, it still doesn't seem like a good idea to venture forth even with a car. This is my third day of being unable to go to the office - unlike you, the Marikina River lies between me and my workplace, and both my routes are reportedly impassable!

AUGH! Yeah. Marikina River explains everything.
